These can all be used for the purpose of adding volume and fullness to the skin in order to rectify facial wrinkles and folds that are moderate to severe. Examples of these lines include the lines that reach from your nose up to the corners of the mouth. In addition, Restylane, Restylane-L, and Restylane Silk can also be used for lip enhancement in patients 21 and older.

Safety & Restylane Injections

People who have suffered from bad allergies in the past such as with allergic reactions to microorganisms should not use Restylane injections. In addition, anyone that has a known allergy to lidocaine should refrain from using Restylane Silk. If there are rashes, hives, pimples, cysts, or skin sores of any type, the use of Restylane should be delayed until healing is complete.
